I read somewhere once that procrastinators are really perfectionists. Like we can't get that little piece of smudge that we just dropped on the floor cleaned up because I can't get on my hands and knees and scrub the entire thing right now, so I'm not going to do it.
I love for things to look good. I want to have everything coordinate. I like the pretty pictures in magazines. I like good looking websites with perfect pictures.
So I haven't really done anything with this yeat.
I want this blog to be about something. Problem is, I don't know what it should be about.
No, I say to myself, it has to be in a niche. Cloth diapers. Decorating. Country Life. Crazy family antics. Random Musings. My T.V obsession. Cooking and Baking (ha).
But I don't know where to take it.
So I have decided NOT to make it about anything. Yet. I am just going to write.
Write about whatever. And see where it goes. I'll write about everything.
It won't be perfect.
And if you know me, you wouldn't expect it to be.
Kind of like my house. It's a cluster. All the time.

friday lovin'
O.K. So I don't like to do dishes. If the dishwasher doesn't clean it the first time, it goes through again. And if that doesn't work, it will go through pretty much indefinitely.
But, I discovered this nifty little kitchen accessory a few weeks ago while enjoying some Three Buck Chuck at a friend's house, and honestly feeling quite guilty about never helping clean up.
So I grabbed it. And scrubbed, and scrubbed. And gosh darn it -- It works!
Now, I scrub BEFORE the dishes go in the dishwasher.
You put the soap in the scrubber (apple - yum), push the button, and viola!
Clean dishes!!
Go get one! You will be doing dishes and scrubbing those pesky remains of food on all of your pots and pans.
(and you know you have them!!)

It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive!
We had some good times when we lived near Stone Mountain. We used to spend our summer there. This picture brings all the memories of Raffi, the library, Dragon Tales, preschool, and our Jetta, which we called Herbie.
